About the Historic Hills House Tour

Hosted in partnership by the Summit Hill Association and Ramsey Hill Association, the Historic Hills House Tour is a one-day architectural tour that grants tour-goers a rare inside look at some of the most historic homes and public spaces in St. Paul. Tour goers receive a printed guide to all the spaces and you can walk, take our shuttle or drive between locations.

This year's House Tour will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026. It features a mix of grand Summit Avenue mansions, churches, historic family homes, and a new construction build that reflects both the rich history and future of these neighborhoods.

Over 2,000 attendees toured 15+ historic homes and other spaces in 2024 getting a glimpse of life in one of the best-preserved historic neighborhoods in the nation. Please join us and discover modern living in an historic setting.

Tour with Purpose

The Historic Hills House Tour supports the work of the Summit Hill and Ramsey Hill Associations, 501(c)(3) non-profits dedicated to securing the neighborhood’s health and vitality for the long term.

The House Tour brings thousands of people to our neighborhood every year, benefiting local businesses and raising its profile. The proceeds of every ticket we sell are used to help deliver programming in Summit Hill, Ramsey Hill, and beyond. We’re working to revitalize Grand Avenue and Selby Avenue, our community's two main business streets. We're collaborating with Parks & Rec to deliver an ambitious upgrade to Linwood Park, with new facilities and amenities including play spaces, sports facilities, and an amphitheater. We plant flowers in our parks, host an historic lecture series, support fellow non-profit organizations and volunteer time and talent to help St. Paul thrive. Together we’re building a stronger community through regular events and programming throughout the year.

Attending the tour isn’t just a day out. It’s an investment in the future of our neighborhood.
